  WARNING!! If you are from out of town and staying at a hotel or motel DO NOT ORDER YOUR DINNER ONLINE!! The online company that is providing service to the restaurant doesn't have the option for ordering plates and utensils for your dinner. Even though we listed the delivery address and room number from a local motel we were not provided these basic items for a $30 dinner for two. Thankfully there was a Jack in the box 4 blocks away where we were able to get bowls and plastic forks which allowed us to eat our dinner. On the good side of this experience even though our food was luke warm by the time we were able to eat our dinner the food quality was exceptional. I called the restaurant and voiced my displeasure about the missing utensils but was told that if I wanted that included with my delivery I should have called my order in over the phone. My 1st visit to Modesto hasn't been that impressive but hopefully this review will help someone else to avoid this situation.

  Better than Panda! For about the same price, we got double the food panda gives in our To-Go order. We easily could have shared a plate per 2 people, literally that much food, so impressed! The chow mein and fried rice had lots of meat and the orange chicken was pretty darn close to panda's recipe, but my family personally like China Gourmet's version better. I really liked the online ordering as well, very user friendly, and we were able to customize easily for my picky husband. Our food, 5 individual meal plates, were ready in less than 20 min. We will be back again!
